Contact the desk

How to reach the desk of Noac Info by email, what to send, and what happens to a correction, a source or a question from a reader.

A shallow wooden tray on a windowsill holding three unopened letters, a fountain pen and a folded newspaper.
Letters reach one mailbox, and the desk answers the ones it can act on.

One address

The desk of Noac Info reads one mailbox: contact@noacinfo.org. A letter reaches the desk directly, and the desk answers the letters it can act on.

What belongs here

A correction. If a leaf states something wrong, name the leaf by its signature and title, quote the sentence, and give the source that shows the error. A dated document, a public record, a handbook or a page from a civic organisation all help the desk set the record straight.

A source. If you know a paper, a minute book, a municipal rule or an archive that a leaf should have read, send the citation. The desk adds the sources it can verify and names them at the foot of the leaf.

A question from a group. If a group is preparing a first meeting, a public gathering or a press note and wants to know what the record shows, write the question in one paragraph. Questions that a leaf can answer become one.

How a letter is handled

The desk reads every letter and replies where a correction or a source changes a leaf. A leaf that changes is rebound with a new date, and the older text stays in the record of the volume. Photographs sent by readers are read as documents, not published as plates.
